Milnrow Sea anglers was founded in 1975, by regulars of the Slip Inn Milnrow.
Over the years the club has also been based at the Back Wagon Milnrow and now at it present location the Milnrow Working Men's Club.
Milnrow is a small town in the North West of England, located close to the Pennines between Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire with good links to the motorway network via Junction 21 Milnrow of the M62.

Rochdale is our nearest large town. Oldham is around 5 miles away 

Milnrow is ideally located for access to many fishing venues ,Members can be fishing on the Mersey or Fleetwood within 1 Hour of leaving Milnrow (55 miles).
North Wales( 85 miles) and the East coast ports(110 miles) are all within reach in under 2 Hours.

The club is keen to promote Sea Angling from Boat and Shore and has a wide range of members.

The Club promotes Conservation and returns as many fish as possible, although good quality eating fish are always welcome.

Shore fishing matches are fished on a catch and return basis, and boat competitions exclude total weight competitions.

The Club is affiliated to the Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers  (WFSA) and has Third party insurance of £10 Million. Insurance is a compulsory condition of membership for all angling activities. at £2.00 per person for all angling membership types. The insurance is valid for all types of angling within the UK or on trips from british ports.

Toilets and shelter available. Walk of around 15 minutes to end with trollies available.

Members of the club also have an interest in the Small Boat Angling scene with 37 boats between them and trips are scheduled each year.
